Project of the Month: High School Stadium Signage

Customer Spotlight: Lincoln High School, White River High School & Stadium High School

This time around we are switching it up a bit and spotlighting 3 projects in one post! I know, I know, it's madness but please try and stay with me on this one. Given it's football season we thought it would be fun to share some of the sign projects that we recently did for local high school football stadiums.

Here are the three High Schools that we'll be showcasing in this blog:

Lincoln High School

As we all know, high school football is a big deal in these parts and it was important to each of these schools to get some updated signage for their stadiums. For LHS & SHS they were in need of updating not only the look of their signage but also the technology. With that being the case, we worked with our friends at Daktronics to find the best digital display solution for each of them. On the other hand, WRHS changed their name with the new Arrow Lumber sponsorship so they needed some rebranding throughout the stadium.

Lincoln High School - New Digital Scoreboard

We worked with Lincoln High School of Tacoma on a upgrading their traditional scoreboard to a new and improved unit with a digital message center from Daktronics. Here is a before shot of their old scoreboard.

We were able to work with Daktronics to determine a new layout that allowed us to not only update the technology of the scoreboard but also improve the overall look and feel of the entire unit. Here is a look at the new and improved unit at LHS.

Stadium High School - New Digital Scoreboard

Just like LHS, Stadium High School was running into some dated technology and cosmetic aging of their old scoreboard at their football stadium. Given our relationship with Daktronics, we once again worked with them on creating an updated look and feel with the technological advancements of the modernized digital units that Daktronics is putting out these days. Their previous scoreboard was a little on the basic side and as you can see below, it left a lot to be desired.

Before Picture:

Given the limitations their current scoreboard was offering from a technology perspective, SHS found a need to update their scoreboard with a cleaner look and an improved digital display unit. Now SHS is able to share some more information with their fans through the message center and provide them with a better overall fan experience. Here's a look at how we were able to take SHS's scoreboard to the next level with Daktronics.

SHS's New Digital Message Center & Scoreboard:

White River High School - Arrow Lumber Stadium

Due to a new stadium sponsor, White River High School and Arrow Lumber came to us looking to update their stadium signage to reflect the new name. Unlike the LHS & SHS signage, this was not a scoreboard project but rather some exterior wall mounted signs co-branded with the Arrow Lumber name and the WRHS colors. They came to us with a request for something big and bright and the result was a sign that's pretty tough to miss if you ever visit a game at the Arrow Lumber Stadium at WRHS. Here's a look at the massive exterior wall mounted sign that we installed right before the football season kicked off.

The Final Result

Given the school year had begun and the football season was starting to kick off, we were under some pretty tight time constraints for each of these projects, but we had an amazing time this fall updating the stadium signage for all three of these local high schools. Anytime you can be a part of project that helps out your local school systems and community it's an honor and an absolute pleasure. We wish all of the teams the best of luck this fall and beyond and hope that they enjoy their new signage!
