City of Issaquah Civic Wayfinding Program
Project Overview
The City of Issaquah Wayfinding and Facility Signage Project enhances how residents and visitors navigate through downtown Issaquah, parks, and public facilities. Based at 130 E Sunset Way, Issaquah, Washington, the project includes design, fabrication, and installation of custom signage reflecting Issaquah’s civic identity and natural surroundings.
This project is part of Issaquah’s broader civic signage and wayfinding system, improving visitor navigation and enhancing local identity throughout Issaquah, WA. Each sign showcases metallic blue and teal finishes, high-performance coatings, and precision vinyl graphics — ensuring long-lasting quality and visual consistency throughout the city.

The Challenge
The city’s expanding network of civic buildings, parks, and public areas required wayfinding signage in Issaquah that unified aesthetics, improved navigation, and strengthened community pride. Each site presented unique conditions — from steep park terrain to busy downtown intersections — requiring engineered footing, custom fabrication, and durable coatings for long-term resilience.

Our Process
Planning & Design: Developed detailed drawings for all Issaquah city facility signs, park monuments, and trail wayfinding systems.
Fabrication: Constructed from aluminum and steel with metallic teal finishes, reflective vinyl graphics, and high-performance coatings suitable for the Pacific Northwest climate.
Installation: Excavation, concrete footings, and precise placement across Issaquah’s civic, trail, and recreation sites ensured stability and consistency citywide.

Installation & Finishing
Each custom park and trail signage Issaquah installation was positioned for optimal visibility and durability. The finished signs highlight Issaquah’s signature blue and teal tones with precision-cut aluminum, reflective graphics, and long-lasting clear coat protection.

Creative District Highlight
The Issaquah Creative District received dual-faced, non-illuminated monument signs with green centers and acrylic copy — adding cultural distinction and civic character to downtown. Each sign represents part of the city’s public signage project connecting parks, art spaces, and civic destinations across Issaquah.
