Overview
Plumb Signs was awarded the Seattle Convention Center signage package through a competitive public bid process, chosen for our precision engineering, design capability, and proven track record on large-scale civic and architectural projects.
This high-profile project involved the fabrication and installation of more than 30 custom signage elements — including illuminated information hubs, architectural branding, parking identification panels, and directional systems. Each component was designed to integrate seamlessly with the Convention Center’s modern design aesthetic while meeting the City of Seattle’s strict code and accessibility standards.
Our team managed every phase — from permitting and structural engineering to fabrication and field installation — ensuring the final result achieved both visual harmony and functional performance across the downtown site.
Scope of Work
Information Hubs
Fabricated and installed 3 Single and 2 Double Information Hubs with aluminum column wraps, integrated display housings, and glass display cases for wayfinding and event information.

Parking & Directional Signage
Produced painted aluminum parking and directional panels with vinyl graphics and pin-mounted assemblies, including projecting frames for visibility from Pike Street.
Loading Dock & Access Panels
Installed a 44.5” x 299” aluminum arch panel for the loading entrance, with high-contrast graphics and architectural-grade aluminum finishes for operational clarity.

Managed City of Seattle sign and street use permits, inspections, and traffic control plans. Coordinated flaggers, police details, and multiple stakeholders for safe downtown installation.
